Please join us for a wonderful and relaxing weekend at Meadowkirk Camp and Retreat Ministry , in Middleburg, Virginia, , September 12-14. Meadowkirk is a new facility located in Loundon County, and is owned and operated by our local Presbytery. It is a beautiful facility and should provide plenty of opportunities for discussion and reflection, good food and outdoor activities. This is our first retreat in several years so for those who have never been, it’s a great time for everyone INCLUDING KIDS! The new camp has a variety of sleeping accommodations, including tents, cottages, a guest house, which we will fill on a first come, first served basis. For many years, retreats were an annual event for members of Capitol Hill Presbyterian Church, and we are bringing this popular event back!

If you want to stay in the elegance of the Main Lodge, it will cost you $171 per person, double occupancy. The rooms in the lodge offer two twin beds, a private bath and fresh linens. Or you can choose a cottage, at a cost of $109 per person. Each cottage has 9 beds in two bedrooms connected by a bathroom with two showers, two toilets and three sinks. And for the frugal, outdoor types who want to bring their own tent, the price for the weekend is $71 per person. All of the prices include meals for the weekend. Scholarships are available for those for whom these costs are prohibitive. If you want to make a day trip on Saturday, the cost for meals will be $44.

The deadline for submitting your reservation and making payment is August 1. For more information, call Ami Rop, 202-547-5601. Additional information and a registration form will be available on this website soon.

Please visit the Meadowkirk Camp website for more information about their facilities and fill out the Retreat Sign Up Form and fax it to the church or place a copy in the church office. If you have any questions, feel free to ask Ami Joy Rop or email her at ropa@georgetown.edu
