Nursery Staff, Brenda Abney-Hill
For nearly 6 years Brenda Abney-Hill has managed our Nursery Room and assists other staff who look over new infants and toddlers at CHPC. The Nursery Room is located on the first floor, just behind the stage in Fellowship Hall. Brenda and all our nursery staff are experienced and fully vetted according to child protection standards required by the District of Columbia. Brenda’s child care services are free and are available on Sunday’s from 9:45 am - 12:15 pm (see different summer schedule).
Children are always welcome in the sanctuary, but for families wishing to worship with their infant children and would like more privacy, there is an enclosed Family Room located on the third floor which overlooks the sanctuary and is furnished with rocking chairs, a crib, toys, crayons, etc.
