Soup Kitchen/Brown Bag Lunches for the Homeless

soup-kitchen.JPGSoup Kitchen — The fourth Sunday of every month, right after worship service, CHPC volunteers prepare hot meals in our church kitchen that we then deliver to the Church of the Brethren. The meals are then served to our community’s homeless. For additional information contact Tim Connor.

Brown Bag Lunches — The first Sunday of every month, CHPC members, sometimes including our youth, bring to the church brown bag lunches (sandwich w/o mayo, carrots, cookies, fruit, juice box, napkin) made at home then distributed to the homeless in a nearby park immediately after worship. This mission service has been very well received over the years by the local community.
